KUB X-ray

KUB stands for "Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder." A KUB digital X-ray is a diagnostic imaging procedure that specifically focuses on visualizing these structures within the abdomen. It provides a detailed image of the kidneys, ureters (tubes that connect the kidneys to the bladder), and the bladder itself. This type of X-ray is commonly used to evaluate urinary tract conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, bladder tumors, and abnormalities in the ureters or bladder. It can also help assess the size, shape, and position of the kidneys. KUB digital X-rays are non-invasive, quick, and relatively low in radiation exposure.
