Assessment Liquor Amnii

Assessment of liquor amnii  is a part of obstetric ultrasound that evaluates the quantity and quality of the amniotic fluid surrounding the fetus in the uterus. During the ultrasound examination, a transducer is used to emit sound waves into the abdomen, which bounce back and create images on a monitor. The amniotic fluid is assessed by measuring the deepest vertical pocket (DVP) of fluid present in the uterus.
