Abdomen & Pelvis Plain CT-Scan

Plain CT scan, no contrast dye is used. This provides a baseline image of your abdomen and pelvis. After the initial images are taken, a contrast dye may be injected into a vein in your arm. The dye helps to enhance the visibility of blood vessels, organs, and any abnormalities. You may feel a warm sensation or a metallic taste in your mouth when the dye is injected.
